食品与环境学院

依托化学工程与技术(生物化工二级学科博士点)、化学、环境科学与工程等一级学科博士点及生物学一级学科硕士点、作物遗传育种二级学科硕士点等学科基础,拓展生态学和食品科学与工程等学科。在环境科学与工程一级学科下自主设置生态学二级学科博士点。设置环境生态工程、食品科学与工程2个本科专业。

食品与环境学院主要结合地区的自然条件和资源,研究植物学、现代生物技术及植物遗传改良,结合湿地、海洋和河流特色的生态学、农产品和水产品加工及食品安全等,并建立农产品加工与食品协同创新中心作为人才培养、学科建设和科学研究的支撑。通过服务于地方的优势产业,生物学、作物学移至盘锦校区会有进一步的提升和发展,并建立国际水平的生态、食品学等相关学科群。

环境生态工程专业

该专业培养具有扎实的数学、物理、化学、生命科学、地学基础知识,具有可持续发展理念,系统掌握环境科学与工程、生态学的基础理论、基本知识和基本技能,具有良好的创新能力,能综合运用所掌握的知识和理论,分析和解决环境生态问题,揭示人类活动、社会发展与生态环境相互作用规律的复合型人才。

主干课程:地球化学、环境地学、生态化学、环境工程概论、生态学原理、产业生态学、植物学、动物学、生态监测与评价、环境生态工程、生态毒理学、生态规划等。

毕业生适合在环境与生态保护相关的政府机构、企事业单位或教育部门从事环境生态管理、研究、生态修复与建设、生态规划与设计等方面工作。

该学科具有硕士学位和博士学位授予权。

食品科学与工程专业

该专业培养具有扎实的化学、生物学等自然科学基础知识,系统掌握食品科学技术原理、工程设计、食品安全等理论和技能,具有良好的创新能力,能综合运用所掌握的知识和理论,在食品相关领域内从事产品开发、科学研究、生产管理、食品营养和质量安全控制与检验、工程设计等工作的人才。

主干课程:生物化学、微生物学、食品化学、食品工程原理、食品工艺学、发酵工艺学、食品营养学、食品检验与分析、食品安全与卫生、食品工厂机械与设备、功能食品、食品毒理学、食品添加剂、食品新产品设计与开发等。

毕业生适合在食品科学相关的企、事业单位或教育部门从事食品科学研究、产品工艺设计与生产管理、食品检验、检疫等方面的工作。

该学科具有硕士学位和博士学位授予权,并设有博士后科研流动站。

School of Food and Environment

The School of Food and Environmentis built on the basis of several traditional subjects of Dalian University of Technology, including the chemistry engineering and technology (biochemistry direction), chemistry, environment science and engineering, biology science, crop genetic breeding, etc. The main subjects are environmental ecology engineering and food science & engineering. Both subjects provide undergraduate and post-graduate education.

Our education and research activities are conducted based on the Panjinlocal natural status and resources, and focus on botany, modern biotechnology, plant genecology, wetland ecology, ocean and river ecology, farm and marine product technology, food safety, etc. An innovation center to incorporate farm product processing and food technology is under planning, targeting the improved personnel training, discipline construction, and scientific research. By the means of cooperation with Panjin superior agricultural and industrial enterprises, we aim to further develop and upgradeour school to theinternational level.

Environmental ecology engineering

The objective of this major is to train studentsto gain solid knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and geometry science; to have the idea of sustainable development; to achieve the primary theory and technology of environment science, engineering, and ecology science; to gain innovation ability; to be able to analyze and partially solve the environmental ecology problems; and to understand the interaction discipline among human activity, society development and environment ecology changing, etc. 

Main courses: geochemistry, environmental geoscience, ecological chemistry, introduction to environmental engineering, ecology science, industrial ecology, botany, zoology, ecology monitoring and assessment, environmental ecology engineering, ecotoxicology, ecological planning, etc.

The graduate students are suitable to conduct work in the area of management and research related with environmental ecology engineering, restoration and construction of ecosystem, ecological design and planning, etc., either in the government organization, enterprises or education department related with environment and ecology protection. 

This subject is allowed to confer master and doctor degree.

Food Science and Engineering

The objective of this major is to train students to gain solid knowledge of chemistry and biology science; to understand the technical principalsof food engineering; to be qualified for engineering design; to achieve food safety principals and technology; to gain innovation ability; to beableto work for product development, scientific research,operation management, food nutrition and quality control and monitoring, food engineering design, etc., in the food science and engineering related area.

Main courses: biochemistry, microbiology, food chemistry, food engineering principals, food technology, fermentation technology, food nutrition, food analysis, food safety and hygiene, food machinery and equipment, function food, food toxicology, food additive, food product design and development, etc.

The graduate students are suitable to work in the enterprises, schools or institute related with food scienceand engineering subject. Job options could be food science research, food technique design and management, food inspection and quarantine, etc.

This subject is allowed to confer master and doctor degree, associated with post-doctoral research.
